During dinner, James insisted that I sit next to them rather than eating alone in the adjacent room, which completely reflects the kind of people they are. It also seems to reflect everyone I met during my two weeks in New Zealand. Tammy and James are now living in Australia but wanted to get married in their home country, where they could be surrounded by family and friends. It rained almost the whole time, aside from a pause just long enough for them to say their vows, and everything felt more intimate because of it. The day was such an awesome celebration and I loved being there to capture all of this.
